00 an hour Kihei Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned veterinary hospital and we're looking for an enthusiastic Kennel Technician / Entry Level Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Our clinic focuses on compassionate and personalized care for our KVC ohana.
We practice high quality, family style medicine and greet our clients and their fur babies by name.
Many of our team has been here for 5
years and we are looking to add another permanent team member to our KVC ohana.
Kennel Technician / Entry Level Veterinary Assistant duties may include:
Bathing and exercising animals Cleaning and disinfecting veterinary facilities, including cages, examination and kennels Communicating with veterinarians regarding animal progress Restraining animals for examinations and lab procedures Moving animals during procedures Sterilizing instruments for surgery Providing care before and after surgery and medical procedures Sterilizing and maintaining surgical equipment and instruments This is an entry level position that would be great for someone passionate about animal welfare, science and learning.
We will provide on the job training and new hires are placed into a mentorship program with a senior technician.

Pay scale depends on skill set and will be evaluated during the interview but ranges from $15.
