We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team.
As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.
This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for our employees and visitors.

The Kihei Maintenance Tech AM position is responsible for assisting Property Manager in taking care of the plants and property as needed and opening the gardens for customers.
Job requirements Uses phone, walkie-talkies, and applications to communicate with SMG co-workers, up to 8 hours per day.
Moves around South Maui Gardens constantly Frequently positions self to transport plants, pottery, and tools safely across acres of property up to 100 lbs daily with or without assistance.
Constantly communicating with team, supervisor, co-workers and customers and a respectful manner.
Works in all outdoor weather conditions.
Essential Functions Assigned daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting to changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
Interfaces with customers, vendors, landscapers, and subcontractors in a professional manner to ensure excellent customer service.
Knowledge of how to use tools to complete your tasks Cleaning and re-stocking of areas including restrooms, re-setting tables and chairs in the gardens and maintenance of trash and recycle bins including disposal of trash into larger containers.
Trimming seed pods, fronds and limbs, removal of fallen foliage and other greenwaste and put into its proper place.
Moving pottery, fountains and statues, as needed.
Watering and weeding plants in the garden area.
Assist in event set-up as needed, moving tables, benches, chairs and other equipment that may be required.
In constant communication with maintenance team and your immediate Supervisor to be aware of daily tasks, job duties, and deadlines.
Able to anticipate needs and problem-solve as they arise.
Able to work alone or as a team, as needed.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
