Responsibilities:
- Develops software for critical customer applications
- Plays an active role in agile software development processes supporting the design and creation of applications and design patterns
- Responds to dynamic requirements that focus on high value impact to end-users
- Utilizes good programming and documentation techniques to ensure scalable, survivable applications
- Collaborates in peer reviews of software code.
- With company support, pursues domain certifications and constantly enhance the level of rigor applied to our teams software practices
- Identifies and recommends quality improvements to software applications processes and procedures
- Manages time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects are on time
- Trains and mentors less experienced members of the department as well as assists team members as needed
- Develops graphical user interfaces with high level of human factors experience
- Participates in standard code cycle releases to development environment
- Remotely supports production deployment of software to ensure successful transition to operations and maintenance
- Designs test cases around code modules to evaluate functionality
- Participates in daily meetings and other agile processes to ensure quality rapid capability delivery
Qualifications/Education:
B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent education and experience required.

years of experience with web application/object-oriented development required.
Strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation
Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external), strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
government security clearance and must be a US CitizenEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
